Boat show fever is on!

Boat show fever is just around the corner! Strictly Sail Miami runs February 16-20 at Bayside. Make your appointment now if you plan on being there or if you would like to see any other cats before or after the show. A large influx of boat shoppers come in from around the world to see the best in the industry. Come meet me aboard the Lagoon 421. As in past years, the Catamaran Company is hosting with Lagoon Catamarans near the Hard Rock Café at Miami Bayside marina/mall. Be sure to wear comfortable easy on/off shoes.

There should be about 2 dozen cats; unofficial Catamaran lineup includes the new Lagoon 400, 421, 450 and 560. We will also bring used Lagoon 420’s probably a 440 and Manta 42. Other Catamaran brands on display will be the US built 34’ Gemini, the French built Catana 47, Nautitech 42, Outremer 49. From South Africa, the Leopard 39, 44, 46, St. Francis 50, Royal Cape 53, Knysna 480, Gunboat 66 and Tag 60. From England the Discovery 50, Isara 50, SeaWind from Australia and from Argentina the Antares 44i. Definitely a good variety all in one spot.

Increasing our online presence

    Hi there faithful readers of this blog. I'd like to start by apologizing to you for not updating this blog as often as I had originally planned, we've been busy down here! But that is no excuse, and you should know that I am going to greatly enhance this line of communication with my customers. An opportunity just arose for a nicely equipped 2011 Lagoon 421 in Tortola. It is a 4-cabin 4-head layout just arrived in October and booked with charter revenue.

Kia Ora can remain in the income earning charter program in the BVI at the Catamaran Company’s charter fleet or come out of the fleet and be used privately.

Kia Ora is equipped with A/C & gen, stack pack, electric winches, electric toilets, chart plotter, inverter, LED lighting, cockpit fridge, cushions, hard bimini with side curtains, etc. She’s asking $529k, replacement value is about 100k more.

Ask me for the complete charter pro-forma. She is expected to charter 24 weeks per year on average and owners have unlimited use of their boat when not booked. Charter income is cash-positive $50k per year after expenses. This means no out of pocket cost to you for insurance, dockage, maintenance, turn-around cost, etc.
